Hi - Kirsty and Jason here! Thanks for checking out our home at Surf Beach. We live in Canberra and we have two young sons and two cheeky border collies. We have a passion for renovating and creating beautiful spaces.

We got into this business because we weren't finding what we wanted in our south coast holidays and wanted to do something a bit different. We wanted to bring our whole extended family away with us, including the furry ones and that pooches would enjoy the beach as much as we do. We wanted to relax and know our kids would be safe, where they couldn't reach breakables and weren't able pull down a bookcase on top of them or turn on the oven. We wanted to holiday at a place that was comfortable, not pretentious and was nicer than what we have at home. We wanted to know that if our kids spilt yoghurt on the couch, it would just wipe off. After may trips to the coast, we decided that we would just have to make this space ourselves.

We never intended to create the successful business we have, but it turns out there's a bunch of people who want all these things too.
